Our Company
Our employees are like our glass: Fully transparent, clean cut, and likely to brighten your day! Meet our team
Larry Kelley, a glazer who has been in the business 35 years, founded 494 Glass and Mirror in 2001. Since then, the family-owned business has grown from strength to strength. It recently opened a showroom and storeroom at 25422 Loop 494 in Porter. (Please drop by for a visit!)
The core of our success:
- Competitive prices
- Quality workmanship
- Friendly and efficient customer service
- Each of our employees boasts superb craftsmanship and safety skills
Safety is such a priority for us that we hold weekly safety meetings. We believe in meticulous training for each employee. An apprentice glazer typically spends a year in training before we allow them to install glass by themselves. Our great safety record speaks for itself.
Quality craftsmanship is of utmost importance. From proper caulking procedures to measuring everything twice, we aim perfection on each job.
Our Community
Our community is important to us. That’s why we donate money to local baseball and football teams. Indeed, we are a sponsor of Humble Little League and East Montgomery Little League. We also sponsor local BBQ cook off teams. And we give money to the National FFA (formerly Future Farmers of America), a non-profit organization that promotes agricultural education among students.
Our Service Areas
494 Glass and Mirror services the following Houston areas: Atascocita, Champions, Conroe, Crosby, Humble, Jersey Village, Kingwood, Magnolia, Montgomery, New Caney, Porter, Spring, Tomball, and the Woodlands.
